Rolex Submariner 16610 NEW/UNWORN Box and Papers 1996
The movement of 16610 is the COSC-certified Rolex caliber 3135. It was first introduced in 1988 and became Rolex’s main movement and it was used in many models. Experts agree that it is one of the most reliable automatic movements ever made. It’s a high beat movement that oscillates at 28.800 bph.The balance features two pairs of adjusting system, known as the “Microstella”. It has four screws at symmetrically spaced positions along the balance wheel.
The metal used in for the construction of the Rolex Submariner 16610 is the incredibly resilient 904L stainless steel which is almost exclusively the domain of Rolex. Containing higher proportions of chromium, molybdenum, nickel, and copper than the traditional 316L steel employed by practically every rival manufacturer, it is a much harder metal and more resistant to corrosion. It also has a unique luster when polished, visually setting it apart in a crowded industry.
This Watch has undergone a thorough inspection of water resistance, accuracy, functionality and condition to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been referenced against technical documents and manufacturer records where available to ensure authenticity and a clean history.
Like all our watches, this watch has been inspected by an expert watchmaker and has been certified as 100% original. All our watches are tested for accurate timekeeping.
